I’ve worked with the Morecambe Bay Partnership several times. They’re a fantastic multi-skilled team who are passionate about Morecambe Bay and its communities.  I’ve worked with them to write successful funding bids and organise conferences and events.  Projects are always time pressured, complex and involve co-ordinating and communicating with multiple partners and suppliers but they’re always great fun, rewarding and successful!

Events

10th to 14th June 2015 – Launch of the Morecambe Bay Cycle Way

I developed and delivered a series of public facing events to celebrate, and increase awareness of, the new Morecambe Bay Cycle Way, National Cycle Network route 700.  A team of riders completed the Bay Cycle Way over 4 days and start and finish events each day attracted local communities in mini festival style. The events included music, local VIPs, photography, street entertainment and performance artists, refreshments, merchandise, stands and stalls.

• Day 1 launch celebration at Sandy Gap, Walney Island
• Day 1 finish at the Munjushri Centre, Ulverston
• Day 2 start send-off event at Ford Park, Ulverston
• Day 3 lunchtime event on The Prom, Arnside
• A final large celebration finish event and mini festival at The Dockside, Glasson Dock

Conferences

Co-ordinating all aspects of these busy, well attended events, including venue and catering, audience invites and bookings, programme and speakers, photography.
