We regularly run courses for groups of individual businesses through various organisations across Cumbria and Lancashire. We can offer a course for your own business team or a one to one training or coaching sessions. We’re flexible so you get exactly what you need.

An introduction to Social Media for business

An introduction to the main social media platforms to help you decide which will work best for you and your business or organisation. It will help you decide where to focus your time and resources for best benefit, rather than trying to do everything! This session will looking at Twitter, Facebook, Google Plus, Periscope, Instagram and other popular channels.

Facebook for business

This session will show you how to set up and manage an effective Facebook page, create engaging content and use Insights and other analytical tools to inform your Facebook activity and help you develop an achievable and effective Facebook strategy. It also looks at Facebook adverts and promoted posts and how they can be used to effectively promote your business.

Google My Business

This workshop introduces Google Plus and its benefits for businesses. With practical advice on setting up your Google Place or Brand Page and how to produce engaging content, this session also looks at how Google Plus and reviews can work with your existing SEO to help improve Google search rankings.

Making sense of marketing

In the rush to embrace social media, it can be easy to lose sight of some of the basics of marketing. This daylong session identifies some of the key, quick win areas of marketing to help you focus your attention on those activities that are likely to have the biggest effect. Including traditional and digital promotional techniques, this workshop provides the delegate with a toolkit of skills to help market their business more effectively.
