Your data and PS Business Matters

We are committed to protecting your personal information (or ‘data’) in accordance with the Data Protection Action 2018 (DPA 2018) and the General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR).

Our policy is to collect only the personal data necessary for agreed purposes and we ask clients to only share personal data where it is strictly needed for those purposes. We collect personal data from our clients or from third parties acting on the instructions of the relevant client.

Why we hold and process your personal data

We process personal data to provide our professional project management, marketing or business support services to clients. We also process personal data in the administration and management of our business and to meet our own legal, regulatory and professional obligations.

We collect information about you to process your service request or supply the information you have requested. If you agree, we may also use it to email you about other products and services we think may be of interest to you. We will not share your information for marketing purposes with anyone else and you can withdraw your consent at any time by contacting us or ‘unsubscribing’ from our e-newsletters.

How long do we hold your personal data for?

Personal data is kept by us for as long as is considered necessary for the purpose for which it was collected (including as required by applicable law or regulation).  In the absence of specific legal, regulatory or contractual requirements, our retention policy period for records and other documentary evidence created in the provision of services is 7 years since your last transaction with us in order to comply with legal and accountancy obligations.

Securing your personal data

We take the security of your data we hold seriously.  We will always minimise the data we hold or process on your behalf to that which is necessary and use secure file transfer methods to share it with you or others.   Our contractual arrangements and security mechanisms aim to protect your data and are regularly reviewed.

Sharing your data with others

We will only share personal data with others when we are legally permitted to do so and we will never sell your data to anyone else.  When we share data with others, we do so to manage our contractual obligations to you or to meet our own legal responsibilities. We use third parties located in other countries to help us run our business.  As a result, personal data may be transferred outside the countries where we and our clients are located.  This includes countries outside the European Union (“EU”). (For example, this may happen if any of our servers or cloud storage solutions are on occasions located outside of the EU.)
